About The Position
This is an independent contracting position where the Student Transportation Monitor will park their car at the passenger's home and ride with the assigned driver to and from the home to the destination. The monitor will sit with the passenger while they are in the vehicle, ensuring their safety and order.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a DOJ background check
- Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned ride locations and be able to arrive on time
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time to assigned pickup locations using personal transportation
- Ride in the vehicle during scheduled trips
- Monitor passengers to help maintain a safe and orderly environment
- Assist passengers as needed during transport
- Communicate concerns or incidents to the driver or Provider Support team
- Follow all ADROIT safety policies and procedures
