About The Position

FAMCO Logistics VA is seeking independent contractors to serve as Student Transportation Drivers in the Northern Virginia area, specifically Fairfax County & Loudon County, and surrounding areas. This role involves transporting students safely and efficiently to and from school. Drivers will be responsible for consistent morning and afternoon routes, picking up and dropping off the same students each day. The compensation is $28 per ride, with potential to earn over $100 daily depending on the number of routes completed. Tolls incurred during routes will be reimbursed. This is an independent contracting position, requiring drivers to manage their own taxes, Social Security, and Medicare.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• 4-door vehicle
• Vehicle no more than 15 years old
• At least 21 years of age
• Pass a comprehensive background check
• Pass a 12-panel drug test
• Valid insurance
• Valid registration
• Pass a vehicle inspection
• No more than 3 points on driving record

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely and in a timely manner.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Pick up students from school in the morning.
• Drop off students at home in the afternoon.
• Transport up to 3 students at a time.
• Pick up and drop off the same student(s) consistently.
