About The Position

FAMCO Logistics VA is seeking responsible and caring individuals to join our team as Student Transportation Drivers in Portsmouth, VA. As an independent contractor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school. This is an opportunity to contribute to the education and safety of students while enjoying the flexibility of independent contracting.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a 4-door vehicle.
• Vehicle must be no more than 15 years old.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Must pass a 12-panel drug test.
• Must have valid insurance.
• Must have valid registration.
• Must pass a vehicle inspection.
• Must have no more than 3 points on their driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transport up to 3 students at a time.
• Pick up the same student(s) in the morning and drop the same student(s) off in the afternoon.
• Ensure students are transported safely and in a timely manner by following policies and procedures.
• Complete at least two rides per day: one morning ride and one afternoon ride.
