About The Position

Supervise use of manual presses and work areas during open studio hours. This role requires a student currently enrolled full or part-time at Ferris State University's Kendall College of Art and Design. The monitor will be responsible for ensuring the proper use of equipment and providing assistance to students and faculty.

Requirements

  • One year of experience working the KCAD’s Printmaking Studio.
  • Familiarity with intaglio, relief, screen printing, and monotype processes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of printmaking students and faculty in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Must be currently enrolled full or part-time student at Ferris State University's Kendall College of Art and Design.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise use of manual presses and work areas during open studio hours.
  • Answer student questions and explain printmaking methods clearly.
  • Work with a diverse group of printmaking students and faculty in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
