The Theatre & Dance Admissions Office Assistant position assists the Admissions Coordinator with admissions-related projects. The position typically requires 8 hours of work per week, but those scheduled hours are able to flex around student responsibilities. These hours can increase around high-traffic times of year, such as audition days and Dean's Host season in the spring. Key projects will include audition/interview days on campus and on Zoom, Open Houses, and Admitted Student events. Common responsibilities include: Assisting with seasonal mailings for MTD Admissions; Leading tours of Dillingham (when available); Coordinating current student volunteers for Open Houses, Audition Days, and other admission-related events, and be present to work those events; Coordinating and facilitating the admitted student visits in April in collaboration with the Admissions Coordinator; and Helping with other projects in the Dillingham Theatre Office. A student may be hired for one or two semesters; it is possible to be hired for this position for Fall 2026 only, and then to be part of a training period for the next Admissions Assistant at the beginning of Spring 2027. This is to account for students who will be gone to London for part of their Junior year and/or away for Field Studies their Senior year, which falls at a critical time in Admissions cycle.
