About The Position

Oregon State University’s Academic Success Center is recruiting 30 part-time Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders to support students in historically challenging courses. SI Leaders facilitate collaborative, student-led study tables, designing interactive activities that help students check and build their understanding and confidence with course content. Leaders are students who have succeeded in the supported course and complete pedagogy training; they facilitate learning rather than teach. No prior learning-support experience is required, and hired leaders receive extensive training before leading study tables.
