About The Position

The Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center (WWRC) is seeking a Student Services Supervisor to provide daily leadership and oversight for the ESS Department. This role includes coaching and supporting staff, ensuring high-quality instruction, completing performance evaluations, and maintaining accurate Employee Work Profiles. The Supervisor promotes a positive, student-centered educational climate and models equitable, culturally responsive practices that support the diverse needs of all learners. The position is responsible for implementing evidence-based instructional strategies, supporting professional development, and collaborating with instructors, counselors, and stakeholders to improve student outcomes. The Supervisor manages departmental operations, including budgeting, program compliance, and updates to the ESS Operations Manual. Additional duties include participation in pre-admissions processes, leading student team meetings, analyzing credential and progress data, and ensuring measurable student achievement aligned with WWRC and DARS goals.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of administrative, managerial, and supervisory practices.
  • Knowledge of program development/evaluation.
  • Ability to oversee the implementation of functional assessments and development of appropriate behavioral strategies for classroom environments and individual students.
  • Ability to provide ongoing support and training to direct service providers departments to insure the education and rehabilitation needs of individuals with various disabling conditions across age groups and cultural backgrounds (youth and adults) are met.

  • Experience coaching behavioral support staff and instructional staff.
