About The Position
This role is responsible for providing specialized support within student services, focusing on areas such as financial aid administration, billing, and customer service. The specialist will ensure compliance with regulations and assist students with financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year’s relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience administering federal financial aid, billing or cashiering.
- Knowledge of federal, state and institutional financial aid regulations and guidelines.
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to a variety of financial situations.
- Customer service experience.
- Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
