About The Position

The Student Services Specialist will provide excellent customer service and support to UNT Health students. This position will assist in providing on-site operational support, planning events, development of programming, outreach efforts, and preparing and maintaining databases. This position fosters student success by ensuring services and resources are accessible and efficiently maintained and delivered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site operational support for the UNT Health Student Food Pantry, including managing donations, volunteers, ordering, delivery and pick-ups, and ensuring the space is clean, organized and appropriately stocked.
  • Provide on-site operational support for the UNT Health Professional Attire Clothing Closet, including managing donations, drives, and ensuring the space is clean, organized and accessible to students.
  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and assessment of SARC programming.
  • Coordinate logistics for outreach activities, meetings, and events for SARC services.
  • Coordinate data management efforts for the Student Food Pantry and Professional Attire Clothing Closet.
  • Provide support for SARC services, including student meeting support when needed.
  • Process requisitions and purchasing card transactions.
  • Develop and create marketing materials for SARC services.
