About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking a Student Services & Social Media Coordinator to serve as a central advocate for students while leading campus social media and engagement initiatives. You'll connect students with resources and support, coordinate campus activities and events, and create compelling content that highlights student success and campus culture. This position is onsite at our Mahwah, NJ campus.

Requirements

Associate degree required
Minimum of one year of experience in student services, social media management, communications, or higher education
Knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Experience with content creation tools such as Canva
Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping students succeed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative content development and storytelling skills
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred
Degree concentration in Student Services, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Education, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary advocate and resource for students throughout their educational journey
Connect students with support services, scholarships, peer networks, and community resources
Assist students in overcoming personal, financial, transportation, housing, and other barriers to success
Collaborate with Financial Aid, Career Services, Education, and Student Services departments to provide coordinated support
Plan, coordinate, and oversee student activities, clubs, workshops, orientations, and commencement ceremonies
Manage student ambassador and work-study initiatives
Foster a positive campus culture that promotes student involvement, retention, and success
Manage day-to-day social media activity for campus platforms including Instagram and other designated channels
Create and publish engaging content showcasing student achievements, campus events, and employer partnerships
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and online engagement professionally and promptly
Collaborate with the Corporate Social Media team on content initiatives and branding efforts
Track and analyze social media metrics to improve engagement and effectiveness
Manage campus digital communications including screen messaging systems and student recognition programs
