About The Position

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, invites applications for a full-time Student Services Associate. This position provides direct support to the Department Head, Associate Department Heads, Chief of Staff, Business Managers, faculty, and students. It serves as the first point of contact for all incoming graduate students, offering assistance in orienting them to the department and acting as an expert resource for a broad range of areas. The role coordinates program acceptance, graduate offer letters, assists international students with required documents, compiles student data analytics, answers questions from prospective students, and ensures the progression of processes. Additionally, it inputs scholarship awards for undergraduate students into the university system and provides departmental administrative support as needed.
