Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for Ultrasound design and instrumentation. The project focuses on designing and developing a wearable ultrasonic imager, combined with optical measurements, to monitor uterus contractions during pregnancy. The goal is to detect early signs of fetus hypoxia and prevent adverse effects. The postdoctoral researcher will be advised by Prof. Chamanzar and will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and physicians to translate these devices into practical medical applications.
