About The Position

Student Recruiters in the Office of Recruitment are responsible for the overall management of an assigned recruitment territory, guiding students from prospect and inquiry through application, admission, and enrollment. This position provides leadership and oversight for recruitment and enrollment activities within the assigned territory, including both assigned and self-initiated outreach efforts. Territory assignments are subject to change based on institutional needs and are evaluated periodically using data-informed decision-making to ensure equitable coverage and maximize effectiveness, in alignment with institutional enrollment management priorities. The Student Recruiter is expected to build relationships with prospective students, families, school counselors, and community partners; represent Marshall University through outreach and travel; and meet established performance standards and enrollment goals.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license necessary
• Must be eligible for hotel and car rental agreements
• Ability to manage travel schedules effectively
• Ability to work frequent travel, including overnight travel, as well as evening and weekend work
