About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting undergraduate student recruitment activities within the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, which includes the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education, and Alberta School of Business. The role involves disseminating information and promoting the University of Alberta to prospective high school and post-secondary transfer students. Key responsibilities include event planning, delivering presentations, responding to student inquiries, advising, organizing administrative recruitment details, and researching recruitment trends. Requirements

• Internal candidates and former employees of the University of Alberta will be given priority consideration.
• Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Requires overtime.
• Requires travel within the Edmonton & surrounding area.
• Possible travel within Alberta/Canada.

Responsibilities

• Support all undergraduate student recruitment activities within the College of Social Sciences and Humanities.
• Disseminate information and effectively promote the University of Alberta to prospective high school and post-secondary transfer students.
• Plan events.
• Prepare and deliver presentations.
• Answer prospective student and applicant email inquiries.
• Advise prospective students.
• Organize and execute administrative recruitment details.
• Research recruitment trends.
