About The Position

The Gallogly College of Engineering has a robust outreach and recruitment strategy, and Student Recruiters are a key element of this plan. Student Recruiters will lead tours for prospective students and their families, assist with the coordination, logistics, and execution of on-campus and off-campus outreach and recruitment events, and assist student services staff with various duties. This position is for the FALL semester only, with potential for continuation in the SPRING semester based on evaluation. Application review begins September 8, 2026.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Must attach Fall 2026 class schedule
• Undergraduate Student Majoring in the Gallogly College of Engineering
• General office/clerical duties
• Demonstrated oral and written communication
• Customer service

Nice To Haves

• Not graduating in December 2026, May or December 2027.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Lead tours for prospective students and their families
• Assist with the coordination, logistics, and execution of on-campus and off-campus outreach and recruitment events
• Assist student services staff with various duties including: preparing correspondence; greeting and assisting students, faculty, and visitors; answering phones; filing; updating contact databases; data entry; making copies; and other general office support
• Perform other related duties as assigned
