About The Position
University Annual Giving & Stewardship in the Office of Engagement is accepting applications for a Federal Work Study student intern to assist the Direct Marketing team for the 2025-2026 academic school year. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented student who is interested in gaining hands-on direct marketing and team collaboration experience.

Responsibilities
- Accurately enter vendor expenses from the Direct Marketing Invoice Tracking sheet into the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to support ROI tracking.
- Create CRM mass updates to attribute appeal outreach (email, text, print) for the University of Virginia and affiliated schools and programs.
- Record inbound donor inquiries from the University Annual Giving inbox, recording them in a centralized spreadsheet, accurately tracking giving, ID, and routing of requests.
- Upload marketing proofs to the Advancement Community Marketing calendar.
- Maintain inventory of all items from premium campaigns (socks, keychains, etc.).
- Other duties assisting the Direct Marketing team may be assigned, as needed.
- Must be Federal Work Study Student Eligible.
Benefits
- $19.50/hour for up to 20 hours a week; a minimum of 10 hours a week.
