About The Position

The Telfer School of Management is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor to teach Financial Management (ADM2350Q) during the Winter 2027 semester. This course covers the financial environment and markets, concepts of valuation, risk and return, cost of capital, capital budgeting under certainty, long-term financing, working capital management, and short-term financing. The teaching mode will be in-person, with potential for changes due to health measures or other reasons. Requirements

• MBA or Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in finance.
• Recent professional experience in financial management.
• Teaching experience, preferably in financial management.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. in the area of finance.
• Competence in a second language (passive).

• Teach Financial Management (ADM2350Q) during the Winter 2027 semester.

Benefits

• Hourly rate for teaching: $239.47 (2024-2025).
• Vacation pay and statutory pay are not included in the hourly rate.
