About The Position

The Telfer School of Management is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor to teach ADM3352M - Portfolio Management during the Winter 2027 semester. This course covers modern portfolio theory, the capital asset pricing model, the arbitrage pricing theory, portfolio selection, efficient markets, active portfolio management, and performance measurement. The teaching mode will be in-person, with potential for changes due to health measures. Requirements

  • Master's or MBA degree (PhD in Finance preferred) or a professional designation
  • Extensive knowledge of issues related to portfolio management
  • Demonstrate recent professional experience in the area of the course
  • Must have a Master's or MBA degree (PhD in Finance preferred) or a professional designation along with extensive knowledge of issues related to portfolio management.
  • Must demonstrate recent professional experience in the area of the course.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Finance preferred
  • PhD candidates in the area of issues related to portfolio management are prioritized
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
