About The Position
This posting is for a Student Part-Time Professor for the course ESP3991 A - Advanced Spanish I during the Fall 2026 semester. The course involves the study of complex grammar concepts, intensive written and spoken practice, composition and conversation exercises, oral presentations, and analysis of selected texts. The position is limited to students who are part-time professors.
Requirements
- Holder of an M.A. in Spanish and registered full time in the Doctorate Program.
- Native or near-native speaker (C2) of Spanish.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Competence and experience for teaching Spanish ELE: B2/C1 grammar, culture and literature of Hispanic countries, composition, and didactics of ELE.
- Expertise in teaching hybrid courses (Brightspace, Blackboard and other technologies of virtual teaching).
- Class management and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work in teams.
Responsibilities
- Study of the complexities of Spanish grammar.
- Intensive written and spoken practice.
- Composition and conversation exercises.
- Oral presentations.
- Analysis of selected texts.
- Teaching Spanish ELE: B2/C1 grammar, culture and literature of Hispanic countries, composition, and didactics of ELE.
