This posting is for a new position as a Student Part-Time Professor for the Fall 2026 semester in POL3515 - Politique comparée du développement. The course will analyze the political economy of development in various global regions, examining theories of political and economic development, the roles of international organizations, states, and non-state actors, and the effects of global economic integration on societies. Topics include self-determination, state-society relations, democracy, sustainable development, and equity, with case studies from countries with diverse development strategies. The course is intended for PhD students and will be delivered online in a synchronous, live-taught format. The University offers training for online course delivery, and the teaching mode may change due to health or other reasons.
