About The Position

The School of Political Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor for the Fall 2026 semester to teach POL4563 - Politique et diversité sexuelle et de genres. This course will explore the spectrum of sexual and gender diversity, including sexual orientation and gender identity and expression, and their relationship with identity formation. It will examine sexual and gender diversities as political phenomena, covering social movement politics, representation in formal political institutions, and the role of the state and public policy, with case studies. The course is offered in person, but the teaching mode may change due to health or other reasons. Requirements

  • Doctorate or doctoral coursework in the field of the announced course.
  • Teaching experience in the field.
  • This course is posted for PhD students.
