About The Position

This posting is for a Student Part-Time Professor for the Intermediate Spanish I course (ESP2991 Section C) during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Arts, Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. The course involves a review of grammar, development of oral and written comprehension and expression, reading, and vocabulary, with oral and written practice. The position is limited to student part-time professors.

Requirements

• Competence and experience in teaching Spanish (ELE): B1/B2 grammar, culture and literature of Hispanic countries, composition, and Didactics of ELE.
• Expertise teaching hybrid courses (Brightspace and other virtual teaching technologies).
• Ability to work in teams.
• Spanish M.A. holder and to be registered full time in the Doctorate Program.
• Native or near-native speaker (C2) of Spanish.
• Bilingual (French and English).
