About The Position

We’re looking for someone who loves Taiwan and Taiwanese culture! Have you been to Taiwan? Do you love learning Chinese? We might be a good fit for you! We’re looking for someone who can: Tell people about our amazing study abroad opportunities Speak Chinese Work with a social media calendar Use Canva, Sharepoint/onedrive, and socials like Instagram and Facebook Support our in-person events We don’t expect perfection, just come with an open mind!

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Speak Chinese
• Familiarity with Microsoft office and One Drive/ Sharepoint
• Familiarity with Instagram/Facebook

Nice To Haves

• Chinese Major/ Minor
• Familiar with building and implementing social media Calendar
• Studied Abroad in Taiwan
• Use Canva

Responsibilities

• Help with department initiatives promoting Mandarin Language learning.
• Promote center through Mandarin Center Social media accounts.
• Public Speaking
• Help with scheduled events outside regular 9-5 working hours
