About The Position

As a successful candidate, you will support the Atlantic Region Operation Controls Department. Note: The application deadline for this position is May 21, 2026, at 11:59 pm MST. Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
  • Available to begin work in September 2026
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Critical thinker and ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment.
  • Flexible to changing work demands and ability to prioritize.
  • Innovative, with a strong desire to learn and the ability to encourage new ways of looking at problems, processes, or solutions.
  • Demonstrates collaboration by actively seeking out diverse people and organizations to collectively achieve business goals.
  • Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint; SAP would be an asset).
  • Work effectively within a diverse team environment.
  • Must be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
  • Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered
  • New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support Turnaround related activities
  • Support SAP related activities, including planning, purchase requisition creation, and revision
  • Support department in annual budgets development / stewardship
  • Assist in cost center and budget tracking
  • Support ongoing operational support activities and initiatives
  • Support ongoing contract performance initiatives
