About The Position

This is an exciting Student opportunity full of meaningful, diverse, and challenging assignments working alongside industry leading professionals. You will be part of a driven, and collaborative team completing important projects while receiving the mentorship, knowledge, and experience to develop the skills you need to build an exciting career. Reporting directly to the WWR Maintenance & Planning Manager, the Implementation student will be actively involved in all planning facets of assigned scopes of work. They will collaborate internally with maintenance, production, marine, engineering, supply chain management, and external contractors, as required to perform their role.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
  • Available to begin work in September 2026
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Critical thinker and ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-performing, team environment.
  • Flexible to changing work demands and ability to prioritize.

  • Must be enrolled in an Engineering Undergraduate Program (all disciplines will be considered) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
  • Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered
  • New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
  • Candidates must have their own means of transportation as there is no public transportation in field locations.

Responsibilities

  • Work planning for assigned scopes of work. Inclusive of work scope development, materials, resourcing, etc.
  • Procurement support including development of new material master numbers, procuring materials, tracking deliveries, etc as required for work scope
  • Progress work scope to completion; Track site queries to closeout, as required
  • Gate Review of Engineering and Contractor Work Packs: Detailed review of work scope, commenting as required
  • Set up and chair Workpack review internally with onshore and offshore (as required)
  • Collate and prepare the Workpack Comment Response Sheet (CRS)
  • Liaison with Contractors and Discipline Responsible Engineers (DRE’s) for workpack issuance through to Document Control
