About The Position

This position assists the Social Sciences Program Manager with the daily functions of the Social Sciences Unit and Hub. The role involves various administrative and clerical tasks to support the program manager and the overall operations of the unit.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of Word
  • Knowledge of Canva
  • Proficiency in copying/scanning documents
  • Federal Work Study (FWS) eligibility is required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry, tracking, and analysis using Excel spreadsheets
  • Maintain organized digital files and folders in SharePoint and Teams
  • Prepare and format flyers, Word documents, memos, and reports as requested
  • Support calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Assist with monitoring and updating procurement and budget records
  • Help track supply inventories and vendor communications
  • Create and maintain logs of key administrative activities
  • Respond to routine emails and inquiries in a professional manner
  • Perform general clerical tasks such as scanning, copying, and filing
  • Support special projects as assigned by the Social Sciences Program Manager
