This student worker position supports classroom instruction and faculty research within the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences department.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be currently enrolled or attending classes at Florida Polytechnic University.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.25.
• Must have successfully completed 9 credits or more in the most recent fall or spring semester with a GPA of 2.0 or better.
• Data analysis and visualization skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant course content.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction by grading weekly homework assignments.
• Grade homework assignments within one week of the due date.
• Support department and faculty research activities.
• Maintain punctual and responsive communication with the assigned faculty member.
• Data Analysis
• Poster Design
• Grading
• Other duties as assigned.
