Student Intern - Employee Health (Spring)
About The Position
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to hospital initiatives in various departments, with a focus on special projects in the assigned area. The position does not involve hands-on patient care. Under close supervision, the intern performs entry-level professional duties while receiving training in hospital departments. Assignments provide practical experience and broad exposure to the hospital’s organizational structure and services. Duties may include gathering and organizing data for departmental projects or reports, helping prepare written reports, filing, accompanying professional-level employees on assignments, and using hospital- or department-specific software. Specific activities vary by assignment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- At least one completed semester of classes with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
