About The Position

The Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) is a pioneering and influential organization dedicated to enhancing the leadership and status of Latino professionals across every sector of the global economy. With a rich heritage and a forward-looking approach, ALPFA is a hub of professional development, and community enrichment catering to both its student and professional members. ALPFA's primary goal is to positively impact Latino lives at every stage, from education and career readiness to leadership and retirement, through targeted programs, mentorship, and active community engagement, thereby contributing to societal progress. The Student Initiatives Intern supports the execution of ALPFA Student Bootcamp, Fellowships, and Career Prep Lab, ensuring smooth delivery of virtual and in-person student experiences. This role sits on the Learning & Development team and offers hands-on experience reducing friction across event production, logistics, and communications during ALPFA peak programming season. This is a 10-week paid, remote internship (June 22 – August 28, 2026) however, “remote internship” doesn’t quite capture it. You’ll own a real project that matters to a national organization, with a people manager and teammates invested in your growth along with a built-in cohort of fellow interns with you. You’ll start with a Week 1 orientation that gets you connected and confident, check in at the mid-point so there are no surprises, and finish by presenting your summer’s work directly to ALPFA’s senior leaders and your peers. The highlight: Every intern travels to the ALPFA National Convention (August 9–13) with us. Flights, hotel, and meals are covered. You’ll work the largest gathering of Latino professionals in the country, build your network, and see the mission you’re contributing to come alive in person.
