Under the supervision of the SOF Manager and student crew leaders, student farmers will perform the tasks necessary to run a diversified vegetable production. These responsibilities include but are not limited to greenhouse seeding, cultivating, harvesting, transplanting, direct seeding, irrigating, and pruning. Students will also have the opportunity to run our weekly CSA Distributions, where we serve 100 members as part of our 15-week Summer CSA and 100 members as part of our 5-week Fall CSA. Student Farmers will also occasionally assist and interact with other educational programs and tours on-site. Please note that you must provide your own transportation to the Student Organic Farm as it is located 4 miles south of main campus. The buses do not have routes to the farm.
