About The Position
Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack, and Hotel is hiring a Grounds Maintenance Team Member to assist in the care of property grounds. This role is for individuals who have a 'green thumb' and enjoy spending time outdoors in all seasons.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have a valid Class B Driver's License (CDL with Air Brakes).
- Must have a safe driving record.
- Must meet company insurance requirements.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Must pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to stand or walk for an 8-hour shift.
- Mowing on hills.
- Must be able to operate various kinds of equipment safely and cautiously.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Keep grounds properly maintained by planting and maintaining grass, trees, flowers, shrubs, etc.
- Responsible for snow removal.
- Assists with barn and dorm maintenance and repairs.
- Keeps all equipment well maintained.
