About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Fire Marshal, and while serving as a First Aid Team member in good standing, assists with the training and onboarding of new team members. In addition to providing first aid services, performs a variety of operational and administrative duties to support the university’s first aid program.

Requirements

  • Completion of Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Nurse Assistant, Medical Assistant, or equivalent work experience such as lifeguard or clinical hospital volunteer.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down first aid stations.
  • Retrieving, distributing, and returning emergency response equipment, including radios and medical supplies.
  • Ensuring equipment is operational and event-ready.
  • Adhering to assigned work schedules, including breaks, and submitting accurate and timely timesheets.
  • Assisting with scheduling, monthly team meetings, and program presentations.
  • Preparing and delivering training materials and presentations for new and existing team members.
  • Evaluating emergency medical response skills.
  • Supporting ongoing training and competency development.
  • Assisting the First Aid Team Manager with the inspection, maintenance, inventory, and operational readiness of emergency medical equipment and supplies to ensure preparedness for campus events and emergency response.
