Requirements

  • Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Financial Aid Manager to support day-to-day scholarship operations
  • Manage and coordinate scholarship data, including setup, maintenance, and reconciliation
  • Review and process scholarship applications and related documentation, making award decisions based on established criteria and professional judgment
  • Ensure records are accurate and aligned with federal, state, and university guidelines
  • Monitor compliance with scholarship and financial aid regulations
  • Serve as a point of contact for students and families, answering questions and helping them navigate financial aid and scholarship options
  • Partner with faculty, advisors, and staff to help guide students through scholarship opportunities and application processes
  • Provide training and support on scholarship systems, eligibility requirements, and awarding guidelines
  • Share scholarship information with campus partners to support outreach and awareness efforts
  • Monitor scholarship activity and maintain up-to-date records
  • Track deadlines and ensure required documentation is completed on time
  • Support reporting needs and ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Identify ways to improve scholarship processes and workflows
  • Help implement changes that increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Contribute to maintaining reliable and effective scholarship systems
  • Deliver financial aid presentations to prospective students and families
  • Attend trainings and conferences to stay current on best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional travel in support of recruitment, yield, and financial aid events
