About The Position

Straley Veterinary Clinic is seeking veterinary students for a paid externship opportunity in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. This program is designed to provide valuable, real-world clinical experience within a supportive hospital setting. The clinic has been a cornerstone of veterinary care since 1957, serving the Bellefontaine community with compassionate and high-quality medicine. The team emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and patient well-being. The modern facility includes 5 exam rooms, a large surgical suite, ultrasound, digital X-ray, and Idexx lab machines, supported by a team of 10 staff members.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.

Responsibilities

• Learn alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians.
• Gain exposure to wellness and preventive care.
• Gain exposure to surgery and anesthesia.
• Gain exposure to dentistry.
• Gain exposure to diagnostics and laboratory services.
