About The Position
Join our 3-doctor team for a paid externship designed to give veterinary students valuable, real-world clinical experience in a supportive hospital environment. Animal Medical Center of Jonesboro is dedicated to delivering the very best care to our patients, but also to pets beyond our doors. Our community involvement includes providing medical services to police force dogs, the humane society, and numerous rescues and shelters in the area. In fact, we’re the official veterinarian of Jonesboro. Our modern facility features: Ultrasound, Digital radiology, Multi- treatment areas, Dedicated hospitalized room, Dedicated feline exam room, Idexx lab machines.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school

- Certain graded externships may not be eligible for payment, based on the requirements of the student’s veterinary school curriculum.
