About The Position
Join our 2-doctor team for a paid externship designed to give veterinary students valuable, real-world clinical experience in a supportive hospital environment. CareVet of Lincoln Way, located in beautiful south-central Pennsylvania, has been serving our community and their animals for over seven decades! Our modern facility features: Large surgical suite, Digital x-ray, Ultrasound, In-House Idexx Lab Suite, Imagyst, Doctors' office. We have a close knit, longstanding, skilled technical team with quarterly outings and an emphasis on family and work/life balance.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
Nice To Haves
- Certain graded externships may not be eligible for payment, based on the requirements of the student’s veterinary school curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Learn alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians while gaining exposure to: Wellness and preventive care, Surgery and anesthesia, Dentistry, Diagnostics and laboratory services, Urgent care and medical cases, Client communication and patient care
