About The Position
CareVet of Collierville is offering a paid externship for veterinary students to gain valuable, real-world clinical experience in a supportive hospital environment. The clinic provides compassionate, high-quality veterinary care, including preventive care and surgery, with a focus on pets and their families. The modern facility includes 5 exam rooms.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
Responsibilities
- Learn alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians.
- Gain exposure to wellness and preventive care.
- Gain exposure to surgery and anesthesia.
- Gain exposure to dentistry.
- Gain exposure to diagnostics and laboratory services.
- Gain exposure to urgent care and medical cases.
- Gain exposure to client communication and patient care.
