About The Position
RESPEC seeks a civil engineering intern in our Colorado Springs, Colorado location for the summer of 2026. This position involves work tasks that support planning, design, and construction of various water and wastewater engineering projects generally for public agencies and municipalities. Interdisciplinary work with environmental science staff is also anticipated.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering with interest in water and wastewater
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge/experience in AutoCAD (or similar software) and/or GIS
- Strong problem-solving and math skills.
Responsibilities
- Support planning, design, and construction of various water and wastewater engineering projects.
- Engage in interdisciplinary work with environmental science staff.
