About The Position

Parkland Health Center has an opportunity for a Student Engagement & Education Coordinator. This role serves as the primary administrator for the organization's learning management system (SABA), ensuring employees receive required education and training based on their roles. This position coordinates clinical education programs for all staff, manages onboarding education for new hires, and assigns and tracks mandatory learning requirements for employees. The coordinator builds and maintains relationships with academic institutions, high schools, and community partners to support student engagement, recruitment, and clinical placement opportunities. This is a hybrid position, and the candidate must be able to travel within the Farmington area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
• 2-5 years of experience
• No Supervisor Experience

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary administrator for the organization's learning management system (SABA), ensuring employees receive required education and training based on their roles.
• Coordinates clinical education programs for all staff.
• Manages onboarding education for new hires.
• Assigns and tracks mandatory learning requirements for employees.
• Builds and maintains relationships with academic institutions, high schools, and community partners to support student engagement, recruitment, and clinical placement opportunities.
• Coordinates international student exchange and other operational activities for Student and Support Services function.
• Coordinates student badging, parking, housing, insurance information and off campus events or conferences.
• Coordinates Specialized Student Group - International Students, including reviewing applications, student advisement, and compliance tracking.
• Compiles Student Service Department’s reports.
• Provides comprehensive planning, evaluation and feedback related to all student activities and events.
