About The Position

The Student Employee will provide support for research and clinical operations within the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Must be a student in the CHP Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ongoing research projects and related research activities.
• Complete required readings to develop an understanding of current studies, research procedures, and data collection requirements.
• Accurately record, organize, and maintain research data in spreadsheets.
• Assist with participant recruitment and other research coordination activities.
• Complete required orientation modules for the Aphasia Group.
• Assist with preparation and setup for the Aphasia Group and general Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) clinic activities.
• Develop visual materials for orientation modules and weekly Aphasia Group sessions.
• Assist with creating video training materials for formal assessments used in adult diagnostic experiences.
• Assist with developing and updating evaluation report templates.
• Provide front office and general administrative support as needed.
• Assist with SLP clinic setup, organization, and maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain clinic supplies, materials, and inventory.
• Perform other research and clinic-related duties as assigned.
