About The Position

The Student Employee will provide support for research and clinical operations within the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Must be a student in the Audiology and Speech Pathology program in the College of Health Professions.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participant recruitment and scheduling.
• Conduct literature reviews and assist with data collection.
• Enter, organize, review, code, and analyze research data.
• Maintain research equipment and devices.
• Prepare and organize research materials, including consent forms and study protocols.
• Run reports to identify patients who have not recently visited the clinic or may need new devices and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Assist with documenting existing devices and updating new device information in the CounselEar electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Coordinate the shipping and receiving of devices sent for repair.
• Check in and test repaired and new devices using the test box.
• Check and organize screening and outreach supplies weekly.
• Track demonstration and donated devices using departmental spreadsheets.
• Stock, clean, and organize clinic rooms and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
