About The Position

NHC Oakwood is offering a free, fast-paced State Certified Nurse Aide Training Program for individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in nursing care. This program is designed to help you become a Certified Nursing Assistant and join NHC Oakwood's Elite Nursing team. The goal is to make a difference in people's lives through dedicated care.

Requirements

• Provide a completed application at the time of interview.
• Provide valid photo identification at the time of interview.
• Provide a Social Security card at the time of interview.
• No absences or tardiness permitted during the 10-day class.
• Maintain a grade average of 75 to continue in the course.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a check of the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults.
• No felony convictions.
• No certain misdemeanor charges.
• Not be found on the abuse registry.

Responsibilities

• Attend all classes and clinical sessions without absences or tardiness.
