About The Position
NHC Oakwood is offering a free, fast-paced State Certified Nurse Aide Training Program for individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in nursing care. This program is designed to train and certify students to become Certified Nursing Assistants and join NHC Oakwood's Elite Nursing team. The class is intensive, lasting only 10 days, with no absences or tardiness permitted. Students must maintain a grade average of 75% to continue in the course. Books and supplies will be provided on the first day, but students will need to purchase one set of scrubs. Admission to the class is contingent upon a criminal background check and review of the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults. Employment opportunities may be available upon successful completion of the course.
Requirements
- Completed Application
- Valid Photo Identification
- Social Security Card
- No absences or tardiness permitted during the 10-day class.
- Maintain a grade average of 75% to continue in the course.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Pass a review of the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults.
- No felony conviction.
- No certain misdemeanor charges.
- Not be found on the abuse registry.
