About The Position

NHC HealthCare Anniston is offering a free, two-week Student CNA training class designed to help you gain the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. This is a fast-paced, two-week nurse aide training program. Students will participate in classroom instruction and clinical training to prepare for CNA certification and future employment opportunities. No previous healthcare experience is required. We are looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who are ready to learn, grow, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Requirements

• Dependable, compassionate individuals who are ready to learn, grow, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
• Completed application
• Valid photo identification
• Social Security card
• Absences and tardiness are not permitted.
• Refundable $40 deposit for books and supplies is required on the first day of class.
• Purchase one set of scrubs to wear during classroom and clinical training.
• Complete required background and registry screenings in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend every scheduled class and clinical session.
• Maintain a minimum grade average of 85% to remain in the program.
