About The Position

This is a free Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program offered at NHC Pulaski. The program is a fast-paced, two-week long, unpaid class. Upon successful completion, there may be an opportunity to apply for employment with the facility. To be considered for the class, applicants must provide a completed application, valid photo identification, and Social Security card at the time of their interview. Due to the short duration of the class, no absences or tardiness are permitted. Students must achieve a score of 80% or greater on all tests to continue in the course. A deposit of $40 is required on the first day for books and supplies, which will be returned upon graduation. Students will also need to purchase a set of scrubs. A criminal background check and registry checks will be conducted. Individuals with felony convictions, certain misdemeanor charges, or those found on abuse registries cannot be admitted.
