About The Position
This is a fast-paced, 20-day state-certified nurse aide training program. To be considered, applicants must provide a completed application, valid photo identification, and Social Security card at the time of their scheduled Pre-Test. A criminal background check and registry check will be conducted. No absences or tardiness are permitted, and students must maintain an 85% grade average to continue in the course. Books and supplies require a $40 deposit on the first day, which is refundable upon graduation. Class hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Students must wear navy blue scrubs and adhere to specific dress code policies regarding piercings. Selection is based on facility need, shift availability, entrance exam score, flexibility, previous work history, and attitude.
