Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Student Cashier (Evenings & Weekends) at our Food Store location in Wakaw, Saskatchewan. Lake Country Co-op does business differently. Requirements

Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
Attentive to detail and possess strong cash management skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
Able to fulfill physical job requirements, such as standing for extended periods with some repetitive motions.
Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Perform cashier duties, bag groceries, assist guests, stock products, face shelves, and complete general housekeeping tasks.
Process various payment methods through the point-of-sale (POS) system and provide accurate change as needed.
Maintain a tidy, organized, and sanitized work area.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
