About The Position

Lake Country Co-op is seeking two permanent part-time Gas Bar Clerks to join their C-Store/Gas Bar location in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, operating the Point of Sale (POS) system, dispensing fuel and propane, stocking shelves, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the location. The position requires a customer-focused approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Work unsupervised, plan and organize your own work.
Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
Attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
Ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
POS experience and can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Willing to obtain WHMIS, propane dispensing certifications.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles with a strong customer-focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Provide pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
Ensure safety is held as the highest priority.
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times.
Ability to learn and understand the POS system, pumps, propane.
Receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader.
Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
Follow company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
