Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Hardware Clerk (Gas Bar Focus) 24-39 hours/week at our Home Centre Location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. Requirements

  • Honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
  • Well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
  • Willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience especially in the CRS would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the behaviours and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
  • Provide Legendary Service through various touch points and communication channels.
  • Provide pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to lottery, tobacco, wine, spirits, and beer.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the point of sale (POS) system, pumps and propane.
  • Receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader.
  • Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
