This is a non-career appointment limited to 129 hours per month. This position is responsible for assisting Local Agency Program (LAP) National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Coordinators in performing data entry, creating and maintaining files and reports, updating existing databases, and performing research as needed for the NEPA clearance process for proposed local road projects at the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). The salary listed is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the Student Assistant position. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
